Bernie’s Book
of the Week
Batman - Robin's First Flight.
Tim Drake has been training for months and finally the day has arrived. Today, he gets to prove to Batman that he is ready to be his new sidekick, Robin. But what starts out to be a simple test turns into a night of drama as Tim, with the help of Nightwing, Batman's former partner, try to find Batman in the city of Gotham. Will Tim be able to complete his task and become the next Robin?
This is a great book, full of action and drama, with all the excitement that we expect from a Batman story. You will find this book on this week's New Books shelf in the May Road School Library.

Bernie’s Book of the Week
The only thing the twins, Oliver and Calia Navel, wanted to do on New Years Eve was watch their favourite TV program, Velma Sue’s Snack Cake Times Square New Year’s Eve Spectacular. But instead they were stuck at a BORING grown-ups party that their Dad had made them dress up for! Unfortunately for Oliver and Celia, that was nothing compared to what was to come next! Sailing on the ocean, Pirates, Volcanoes erupting, Giant Squids, Hidden Treasure and a TV Celebrity!!! Oliver and Celia HATED adventures but somehow they always ended up in the middle of one.
Accidental Adventure Series
and I just loved it! It was an exciting read with lots of twists and turns. If you haven’t read the other books in the series I suggest you do before you dive into this adventure. You will find We Give a Squid a Wedgie on our New Book Shelf this week. Then look out for Book 4 in the series, We Sled with Dragons, coming to the May Road School Library very soon.
